Published in 1959, this book is of course, somewhat dated. Both in attitudes but also probably in terms of some of the equipment used by the characters. However, it's still an exciting and gripping story. I binged it over one day! The descriptions of the conditions faced by anyone out of doors in Greenland, and of the terrible toll those conditions can exact, are almost certainly as current now as they were then & certainly give food for thought.
The reader was excellent. He created clear differences between characters in the voices he employed & held the attention well.
I very much enjoyed this book.

A good listen. Beginning with murder and plane crash, followed by rescue and the fight for survival in one of the most hostile environments on earth
