What to expect
From a childhood in Essex, most of which was spent in his mum's hairdressing salon and pretending the fields and streams at the end of his garden were the Amazon rainforest, to finding himself travelling down through the real thing forty years later, Ross's life has taken many twists and turns.
Through it all there's been no plan, no roadmap, no strategy. Ross has gone from one wild adventure to the next, and never quite felt like he's fitted in anywhere. These are heart-warming and hilarious stories of the funny, scary, exciting and unbelievable things that have happened along the way. From renting a one room flat that reeked of mould and damp at drama school, to his audition for Eastenders and filming shows in active war zones across the world, this is Ross Kemp in his own words.
With over 100 brilliantly funny tales and surprising stories, it is warm, energetic and endlessly entertaining, and a fascinating snapshot of a life lived to the full.
