Explore inspirational, funny and brave LGBTQIA+ stories on xigxag
xigxag invites you to lend your ears and your hearts to the voices of LGBTQIA+ authors and narrators sharing inspirational stories, romances, heartache and hardships through the powerful and intimate medium of audiobooks.
There is no better way to experience any story than to listen to the author tell it in their own voice, allowing listeners to feel, understand and respect the journeys of the LGBTQIA+ communities and become allies of this much wider movement for love, equality and acceptance for all.
Pride is celebrated every June, in tribute to those involved in the Stonewall riots in New York in 1969. The riots are considered a transformational moment for gay rights, broadening awareness of the challenges faced by gay people and elevating the cause to the national agenda in the US and around the world.
This Pride month, xigxag celebrates the stories of people coming together in love and friendship and acknowledges just how far LGBTQIA+ rights have come since Stonewall – while also admitting there is still so much work to be done.
x-book® – beyond the audiobook
xigxag is an innovative new audiobook concept and UK alternative to big tech. We’ve developed an exclusive new x-book® format that combines the audiobook and ebook into a brilliant, single integrated format. For the first time, users can switch seamlessly between listening and reading, or read along, without paying twice. It also allows listeners to search, take notes, share quotes, see illustrations and look up words as they listen without having to pause (or download a pdf).
The xigxag app is available on Android and iOS, so you can install it on any phone or tablet, and buy as many titles as you can listen to!
